Canopy Bed
The carving has applied gold leaf. On the foot of the bed is a scene of a man fighting off a bear. The canopy has four recessed panels and each panel illustrates a biblical story. One panel shows Elijah going to heaven in a chariot of fire, the next shows Jonah and the whale, the next shows Noah and the ark, and the last panel is Adam in Eve in the Garden of Eden. As your lying in the bed around the top left of the canopy is a prayer for going to sleep, around the top right is a prayer for morning.
